Jessica Privett

Jessica began CrossFit in 2011 after becoming bored with traditional gym workouts and weight lifting.  After about year 3, she realized that she needed more mobility. She began incorporating yoga into her fitness regimen as a supplement. In 2015, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training. And soon after began leading the yoga classes at SLC CrossFit. She also teaches hot yoga at a local Salt Lake Studio and offers private yoga lessons.

 She teaches vinyasa style yoga that encourages breath and movement to work together as one. Yoga is the perfect complement to CrossFit. It offers increased mobility as well as body control and awareness, and the importance of breath. All key elements in CrossFit programs.

 In addition to yoga and CrossFit, Jessica enjoys swimming, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and walking her dogs. She is currently working on finishing her mechanical engineering degree. Most importantly, she is the mother of two fantastic young men who light up her world.
