WOD (WORKOUT OF THE DAY)
The WOD class, or “workout of the day”, is our most popular, award winning program. Anyone can put together a workout that makes you sweat but it take a true understanding of strength and conditioning to be able to deliver results, month after month and year after year. This is where we excel and why we are so popular. Our top notch trainers will guide you through a 60 minute workout consisting of warm-up, skill, strength and conditioning exercises, in a motivating, controlled, and safe environment. Come make new friends. All skill and athletic abilities are welcome. To enter this class you must have either completed our Foundations Program or have prior CrossFit experience.
SLC CrossFit Intro Session
The SLC CrossFit Introductory session is your point of entry to the regular group classes. Whether you’ve been doing CrossFit for years or this is your first time, we recommend everyone going through a free introductory session. During your intro session you will meet with one or our trainers to discuss your goals, learn what our program is all about, discuss expectations and what sets us apart from other gyms in the area. Immediately afterward we will take you through a series of tests and movement screenings to determine your current physical ability, flexibility, movement patterns, and any limitations that you might have and how to correct them. Based on how you score, your trainer will make a recommendation on how many private training session they believe it will take to have you ready for a safe and smooth transition in to the group classes. The introductory sessions are one on one but can also be completed with a partner if you would like to take them together. Call or email us to set up your free introductory session.
Do you know the exact amount of protein, carbohydrates, and fat you need to eat a day in order to obtain your goals? If you don’t, then you’re just guessing on how to get there. We don’t like to guess, guessing is often unsuccessful. Here at SLC CrossFit we have what we believe to be the most successful nutrition program available. It’s simple to understand, non restrictive and delivers real, lasting results. This program is available to SLC members or non members. Just contact us to set up an appointment. Our trainers will take the time to discuss your goals, take measurements, body fat, and define the most direct path to reaching those goals. You will know the exact amount of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats you’ll need to consume in a day to successfully meet those goals.

Progressive nutrition analyzation to keep up with performance or cosmetic goals. Monthly Body fat, circumference measurements, and goal analysis.

Includes lifestyle, activity level, nutrition assessment and goal assessment. Bi-weekly consultation. Monthly nutrition analyzation to keep up with performance or cosmetic goals. Monthly Body fat, circumference measurements, and goal analysis.
One time consultation: $75
Includes lifestyle, activity level, nutrition, and goal assessment. Detailed personalized nutrition profile. Starting body fat and circumference measurements and 30 day follow up measurements.
How’s your barbell cycling? If you are looking to improve, SLCCFs Barbell Club covers efficiency of the snatch and clean and jerk. Coached by Cassidy Duffield and programmed by Dave Fleming, we are welcoming athletes near or far, and of any weightlifting skill level to participate in this barbell cycle. Flexibility is one of the most important, misunderstood concepts. Lack of mobility can keep you from achieving proper mechanics and is the leading cause of injuries. A mobility expert will assess your current mobility limitations and prescribe a specific series of stretches that will increase your range of motion and ensure pain-free movement.
Yoga for CrossFit athletes is a great way to begin to improve your flexibility, balance, muscle endurance, and kinesthetic awareness. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or new to yoga, our yoga classes will make you a better athlete by improving your overall strength and mobility. Yoga helps calm your mind, reduce stress, and stretch your body. Balance, Body Awareness, and Flexibility are all important to your CrossFit training.
