WOD (WORKOUT OF THE DAY)
The WOD class, or “workout of the day”, is our most popular, award winning program. Anyone can put together a workout that makes you sweat but it take a true understanding of strength and conditioning to be able to deliver results, month after month and year after year. This is where we excel and why we are so popular. Our top notch trainers will guide you through a 60 minute workout consisting of warm-up, skill, strength and conditioning exercises, in a motivating, controlled, and safe environment. Come make new friends. All skill and athletic abilities are welcome. To enter this class you must have either completed our Foundations Program or have prior CrossFit experience.
The CrossFit fundamentals program is your point of entry to the regular group workouts. It’s a 4 session introduction to the philosophy and fundamental skills of CrossFit. You will attend 4, 1 hour sessions with our coaches. During this time you will learn the techniques and mechanics of the fundamental movements involved in our daily workouts.
Every class you will learn new movements and skills that will build from relatively non-technical to progressively more technical. There will be a workout at the end of every session that will get progressively more challenging.
How’s your barbell cycling? The Open is just a few weeks away. We will be covering efficiency of the snatch and clean and jerk for high rep Open style workouts. Come join SLCCFs barbell class tomorrow from 1:00-2:30 to master the movements. Members and non-members welcome. New non-member price is up and going, 5 classes for $100. We hope to see you there!

Flexibility is one of the most important, misunderstood concepts. Lack of mobility can keep you from achieving proper mechanics and is the leading cause of injuries. A mobility expert will assess your current mobility limitations and prescribe a specific series of stretches that will increase your range of motion and ensure pain-free movement.

Yoga for Crossfit Athletes is a great way to begin to improve your flexibility, balance, muscle endurance, and kinesthetic awareness. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or new to yoga, our yoga classes will make you a better athlete by improving your overall strength and mobility. Yoga helps calm your mind, reduce stress, and stretch your body. Balance, Body Awareness, and Flexibility are all important to your CrossFit training.
