Group classes, also known as the WOD class, or “workout of the day”, is our most popular, award winning program. Anyone can put together a workout that makes you sweat but it takes a true understanding of the principals of strength and conditioning to be able to deliver results, month after month and year after year. This is where we excel and why we are so popular. Our top notch trainers will guide you through a 60 minute workout consisting of warm-up, skill, strength and conditioning exercises, in a motivating, controlled, and safe environment. Come make new friends! All skill and athletic abilities are welcome. To enter this class you must have either graduated our personal training program, SLC Foundations, or have prior CrossFit experience.

SLC Foundation Program
Whether you are brand new to CrossFit or an athlete looking to take your fitness to the next level, the SLC CrossFit Foundations Program is designed to further your understanding of exercise, movement, and nutrition so that you can achieve your fitness goals in the safest and most efficient way possible.
The SLC Foundations Program is open to all ages and fitness levels. The program consists of 5 personal training sessions and includes the rest of the month’s membership, from the day you start the program. During the program, your trainer will introduce you to the foundational principles and proper mechanics of weightlifting, gymnastics, calisthenics, nutrition, and mobility. These sessions will be completed inside of a regular group class so you’ll have the benefit of meeting our awesome members and getting comfortable with the class atmosphere, while having the attention and direction of your own personal coach. Completion of this program will you ready for a safe and smooth transition into the group classes. The cost of the program is $350.
SLC CrossFit Intro Session
The SLC CrossFit Introductory session is your point of entry to the regular group classes. Whether you’ve been doing CrossFit for years or this is your first time, we recommend everyone going through a free introductory session. During your intro session you will meet with one or our trainers to discuss your goals, learn what our program is all about, discuss expectations and what sets us apart from other gyms in the area. Immediately afterward we will take you through a series of tests and movement screenings to determine your current physical ability, flexibility, movement patterns, and any limitations that you might have and how to correct them. Based on how you score, your trainer will make a recommendation on how many private training session they believe it will take to have you ready for a safe and smooth transition in to the group classes. The introductory sessions are one-on-one but can also be completed with a partner if you have someone you would like to take them with. Call or email us to set up your free introductory session. Do you know the exact amount of protein, carbohydrates, fat or calories you need to eat a day in order to obtain your goals? If you don’t, then you’re just guessing on how to get there. We don’t like to guess. Guessing is often unsuccessful. Here at SLC CrossFit we have what we believe to be the most successful nutrition program available. Coached by National Champion Cassidy Duffield and rising star Braden Jenkins, SLC Barbell club is one of the most accomplish weightlifting clubs in America. Open to all abilities, the focus of the program is develop top athlete through perfect mechanics. Due to the technical focus of the program the club will only be open to the first 25 athletes. Classes will run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 5:00-7:00 pm with open gym on Wednesday and Friday 5:00-7:00 pm, Saturday 10-12pm. SLC Barbell membership is $150 per month. Competitive CrossFit Training
As you may have heard, CrossFit, the sport of fitness has arrived. Today many athletes are testing themselves in the competitive sport of CrossFit. If you would like to find your true athletic potential in the sport of CrossFit then we have the expert coaches that can build the perfect program for you. Since 2010, we have produced over 14 CrossFit Games qualifiers, 30 individual CrossFit Games Regional qualifiers and over 70 CrossFit Games Team Regional qualifiers, either here at our facility or through our remote programming. In 2017 alone we qualified 7 individual qualifiers and two teams. Our trainers are experts at determining your strengths and weaknesses as they pertain to the sport and will build a program to make you the best CrossFit competitor you can be. Flexibility is one of the most important, misunderstood concepts. Lack of mobility can keep you from achieving proper mechanics and is the leading cause of injuries. A mobility expert will assess your current mobility limitations and prescribe a specific series of stretches that will increase your range of motion and ensure pain-free movement.
Yoga for CrossFit athletes is a great way to begin to improve your flexibility, balance, muscle endurance, and kinesthetic awareness. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or new to yoga, our yoga classes will make you a better athlete by improving your overall strength and mobility. Yoga helps calm your mind, reduce stress, and stretch your body. Balance, Body Awareness, and Flexibility are all important to your CrossFit training.
